The children missed out on using clay due to the lockdown so we managed to fit it in later in the year! They experimented with play dough first, they designed either a pinch or coil pot. Finally they moved onto clay. The clay was much harder to manipulate than the play dough so some children decided to switch from a coil pot to a pinch pot instead as they thought critically about what would be the most successful for them.
