What a lovely day for an outdoor Violin lesson.

Singing Workshop

Year 1 enjoyed taking part in a singing workshop! We got to work with partners and practise using our musical instruments.

Making Buses!

Year 1 were visited by Paul the toymaker and were instructed on how to make their own toy buses. So impressed with their toys and the children enjoyed making the buses!

Scientists in Year 2

In Science we have been learning about plants, we know about the parts of the plants and the functions of these parts so tested our knowledge by dissection a plant that had a flower and then sorting the parts into their groups.  It was a great lesson and the children loved it!

Welcome to the new school year 16.9.21

We have been so pleased to welcome back the familiar faces from last year and also meet and get to know all our new classmates.  The children have all settled in so well and are enjoying exploring the indoor and outdoor environments 🙂

Our first week in Year 1!

Our new year 1’s have been busy exploring their new classroom, discussing our rules and taking part in celebrating the 70th birthday of Greenfields School.  We celebrated with a class party and disco and enjoyed spending time at the fair winning prizes!

Troll Jelly

Reception read ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’ and have been doing a variety of activities to do with the story. Easter in Year 1

We had an amazing time in Year 1 during Easter and got really busy! We created our own Easter eggs using Paper Mache. We buttered our own hot cross buns and took part in our Easter Bonnet parade!

In Geography we have been comparing South Oxhey to different places in the  world. We wanted to create a Malaysian inspired noodle dish.
