A busy week for Year 1! We loved participating in World Book Day, and exploring a whole range of books and reading materials. We loved dressing in our PJs for the day!
We played pass the book (pass the parcel) to look at the books around our classroom.
We had stories in our reading garden with adults
In the afternoon, I challenged children to become storytellers, creating their own books and stories boards!
It was a fantastic day to explore books and think about why reading is important to us.
