Welcome to Nursery!

We have have a busy two weeks since starting back at school.  It has been lovely to welcome back familiar faces and also meet and get to know all our new classmates.  The children have been exploring the indoor and outdoor environments and making new friends 🙂

We have been enjoying using the apparatus in the hall for our PE lessons.  The children can climb, balance and jump safely – and as you can see they have a great time!

Nursery Home Learning

Some of our Nursery friends are learning from home at the moment.  We keep in touch via Google Meets which is great fun!  The children at  home collect their learning packs every week and are working so hard on our People Who Help us topic, learning phonics, counting, sorting, singing and dancing!

This term’s topic is People Who Help us and the children in school were really keen to make an ambulance.  They thought of how they wanted to do this and had great fun playing with it and being Paramedics!

Forest Schools Fun at Nursery

The children had a wonderful treat before we broke up for Christmas.  They made a fire and toasted marshmallows – how delicious!  Our silly elf was outside too, he was hiding in the tree!

The first half term of Nursery :)

We have been so busy for the last 8 weeks and here are some snapshots of what we have been doing.  The children are settling into Nursery routines really well and we are looking forward to the next half term and all the celebrations ahead!
